Santa Eulalia is Barcelona’s most iconic and legendary luxury store. And today, we invite you to enjoy a private shopping experience that will be the perfect style souvenir.

Meet our local fashion expert and make your way to Passeig de Gràcia, the city’s top avenue. At the store, you will be welcomed by the director for a private tour around the spectacular premises (over 2000 square meters), including the atelier, usually open to their clients only.

Aside from browsing their multi-brand selection of apparel and footwear, you can of course try on anything you like. But you can even enjoy an urgent, bespoke fitting and tailoring service for a purchased item, which can be later delivered to your hotel.

With over 180 years of history, this majestic store has long been a destination for aristocrats and the high bourgeoisie, and still preserves one of the few remaining tailoring workshops in Spain.

But beyond its storied fashion legacy, it offers a world of refined pleasures that extend well beyond shopping, inviting you to linger, indulge, and experience the space in unexpected ways. And really, who could resist a glass of cava and tapas at its exclusive outdoor bistro?

We are a small but strong team led by Marta Muñoz Recarte and Glòria Pou. Both of us had long-standing careers in the art world until 2013, when our passion for travel led us to create THE REAL THING.

We are based in Madrid and Barcelona, where we design and oversee your journeys. We have a close-knit network of choice collaborators that make us the really top DMC we are. They include hoteliers with class, tour guides with cachet and chauffeurs with an eye for detail and impeccable timing; people who hold the keys to historic and unique buildings, art curators, cultural ambassadors and personal shoppers; contacts at the trendiest restaurants and bars of our cities, musicians, DJs, flamenco dancers, chefs, sommeliers, bartenders… Farmers and winegrowers, ceramicists, cheesemakers, sports instructors, massage therapists, fishermen, percebeiras (goose barnacle hunters), sailboat captains, jugglers, magicians… Want to meet them?
